On the island of St. Barth, the paille-en-queue is a long-tailed, white seabird. Its shape is elegant, and it is often surrounded by sky, which makes its name a fitting one for the newly built villa that is called Au Paille en Queue (APE). The lines of the luxury rental property are graceful, the windows—many the length of entire walls—have vistas of blue sky and sea, and the feeling and energy inside practically soar.
Au Paille en Queue is a modern, simply designed villa with two bedrooms in a convenient location in St. Jean. The beach of the same name is just a 10- or 15-minute walk, and the stadium, tennis courts, and other sports facilities are nearby. The St. Jean pond is also close.
The center of social life in the villa is a partially shaded terrace. Beneath an overhang made of loosely woven natural material, there is ample seating, and areas for lounging and dining. There are also fully exposed sunbeds, and a gazebo with a sectional sofa in full shade. This sofa is large enough to be a daybed, if you desire.
There is also an indoor living area, with blush couches in front of picture windows, a dining table, and the kitchen, which is separated from the main space by a small island. One of the two bedrooms is accessed from this living room, or from the terrace.
The second bedroom is much like the first, but with a different color palette, and well separated, making Au Paille en Queue suitable for groups of adult friends as well as families. This bedroom is located in a separate bungalow and can be reached only from the terrace. In each, there is a European king bed, ensuite dressing area, air-conditioning, and private bathroom with a shower.
For larger groups, Au Paille en Queue can be rented along with its neighbor, Villa Anse Etoilée, which has a similar style. Together, these homes have three bedrooms.
Sibarth Bespoke Villa Rentals is proud to offer the views and good vibes of Au Paille en Queue.
